I've got to tell you about this website...

marketing media resource Jul 07, 2022

I was updating one of my courses over the weekend and I was reminded of a website that I think is one of the BEST KEPT SECRETS to getting free attention for your not-for-profit, community group or small business.

It’s called Source Bottle.

Started by the amazing entrepreneur Bec Derrington quite a while ago now, I used to use it when I was a journalist and now absolutely love it from a cause and business perspective.

Here is the skinny. You can register (for free) to get daily or weekly updates about people looking for great sources or content.

You can choose by categories – like health – and you will get journalists, podcasters, bloggers and more sending you opportunities to be included in their content. All you have to do is respond to their requests with quotes, facts or how you can help and if they are keen they will reach out to you.

I used it personally and it’s got me on podcast episodes, on blogs, websites, radio and even in some pretty major national publications.

If you haven’t used it yet, I highly recommend checking it out at sourcebottle.com

P.S. Just in case you’re wondering – I am just recommending this because it’s an awesome and underrated tool. Bec doesn’t know I am promoting it and I don't get paid for doing so. It’s just a cool tool I tell a lot of my students about and I thought it could help you as well.
