ALL the dates for your content calendar!

 found myself staring at a blank calendar this week, wondering what on earth we’re going to post across our social-media channels over the next 365 days!

Then I remembered a little trick that REALLY helps fill the gaps in your content calendar. At the beginning of each year, I like to make a note of all the dates that are relevant to Hancock Creative and the work that we do; for instance, International Women’s Day on March 8, IDAHOBIT on May 17 and RU OK? Day on September 12 (to name but a few!). I jot all these down on my calendar and straightaway my content planner doesn’t look so empty!

I don’t know exactly WHAT we’ll post on those significant days (we’ll plan that a week or so in advance) but marking down the dates gives me a starting point for my social-media content calendar.

The hard part, of course, is finding all the significant dates. There are so many to choose from! That’s why I’ve done the hard work for you and listed all the dates I can think of below. Pick and choose the ones that are relevant to your organisation and your audience.

I’m sure I’ve missed a few! If there are any glaring omissions, please let me know and I’ll update the list. But hopefully all the big ones are here!
